Responsibilities
- Experience in the food industry IS A MUST
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Able to work mornings, evenings and holidays
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Kitchen experience or prior food industry experience is a plus
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
