Requirements:
- Be at least 19 years of age
- Be legally able to work in Canada
- Have a valid Serving It Right certification
- Have 2-3 years liquor retail experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- High English language proficiency
- Able to handle cash accurately
- Able to lift 20-25kg boxes repeatedly, stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat and complete all necessary physical tasks required in a liquor retail environment
- Have a flexible schedule (8am - 11pm) and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Formal product-knowledge education, such as WSET, Cicerone, etc.
- A mature, positive and responsible attitude with a strong work ethic and sound judgement
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain focused under pressure
- Ability to consistently complete repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently
Job Description
- Attend to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with product selection by maintaining a high level of product knowledge
- Complete sales transactions quickly and accurately
- Stock shelves and rotate product as needed
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
- Process incoming deliveries quickly and efficiently
- Assist with maintaining an orderly, clean, and functional work environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
