Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a full time driver you will be working with our team to deliver Johnston's products to customers all over in Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and possess excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Daily driving routes to our customers across the lower mainland
- Conduct daily pre-trip checks of your vehicle to ensure safety
- Loading boxes into customer stores in an orderly and efficient manor
- Adhere to and ensure all hygienic food safe and WorkSafeBC requirements in the plant are followed.
- Have a positive and friendly disposition when communicating with customers.
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various destinations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow planed routes to meet delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and customers
Skills:
- Proficient in commercial driving techniques
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid class 5 license with Air Brake endorsement or willingness to obtain Air Brake endorsement (Company will reimburse after successfully passing probation)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit (ability to lift/carry 100lbs)
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay: $22.06-$26.98 per hour
