Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy equipment operation. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient execution of paving projects, particularly in asphalt paving and concrete forming and finishing. The Operator will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality results while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including loaders and other machinery, for construction tasks.
- Execute concrete forming and finishing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform digging and paving operations as required for project specifications.
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders and concrete machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Familiarity with concrete forming and finishing techniques is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
