Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate commercial interior construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical construction knowledge, and the ability to manage subcontractors and multiple site activities effectively.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily on-site construction activities and ensure work is completed according to project plans and specifications
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain efficient workflow
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and construction documents
Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
Monitor project progress and prepare site reports, updates, and documentation
Assist with budgeting, labor coordination, material management, and equipment planning
Support construction estimating and cost control processes
Utilize construction management software for scheduling, communication, and project documentation
Maintain quality control standards throughout all stages of construction
Resolve on-site issues and ensure timely completion of project milestones
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience supervising commercial interior construction projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site coordination
Trade background considered a strong asset (carpentry, drywall, interiors, or related trades)
Proficient in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction estimating
Knowledge of quality control procedures and job site safety practices
Familiarity with budgeting and cost control within a construction environment
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
Working knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
