Examine, formally define and standardize the practices and processes concerning the maintenance of production facilities, including routine maintenance and servicing, troubleshooting and repairs, monitoring and installation of industrial equipment. Propose improvements to preventive maintenance plans and contribute to the objective of reducing the overall cost of industrial maintenance. Prepare for preventive maintenance operations and shutdowns as well as draw up preventive maintenance plans and promote condition-based and predictive maintenance.
Job Requirements
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the structure of preventive maintenance plans
- Knowledge of production facilities
- Quality, continuous improvement and risk analysis tools (Lean, 6 Sigma, 5S FMECA)
- Troubleshooting methods/analysis tools and/or diagnostic tools (Maxer, CODe, DMAIC, etc)
- HSE regulations and compliance of machines, processes and products
- Industrial maintenance techniques (mechanical, electromechanical, automation, vacuum and other disciplines, as applicable)
Skills
- Ability to read/interpret technical diagrams, instructions, etc.
- Use of maintenance tools and methods
- Use of CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and Microsoft Project or equivalent for production management/planning
- Technical English
- Project management, ability to facilitate meetings
