Product innovation is a critical element to our business and we’re looking for an organized, CPG-savvy individual to be an integral point of contact for all product commercialization efforts.
As the Product Commercialization Manager, you will help oversee the product commercialization process for the full organization. This includes executing the innovation sourcing requirements for a product launch, in addition to driving product commercialization meetings and timelines, while assessing continuous improvement opportunities for how new product launches are executed. This position operates within a dynamic environment and must be able to react quickly to changing customer, consumer and internal needs. Responsibilities
The Manager of Product Commercialization will lead of the Product Commercialization initiatives, responsible for ensuring the successful end to end launch of new products. Within the endeavor, responsibilities include:
· Lead the end-to-end execution of all product innovation projects
· Facilitate project kick-off meetings to define project scope, timeline, complexity, and resource needs
· Work with and support cross functional stakeholders (Sales, Product Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, Finance) to ensure commitments are met for on-time deliver of innovation
· Own and develop product innovation timelines through the project lifecycle
· Support the development of pricing strategy
· Assessment of innovation execution for continuous improvement opportunity
· Assist in the source of materials and producers to support product innovation
· Assist in the identification and fostering of supply partnerships that lead to product innovation opportunities and/or sourcing advantages
· Review product costing and business profitability
Assets:
· Experience in a CPG and/or Retailer environment
· Experience specifically with Loblaws private label product development/launch (example Assistant Product Manager or Product Manager within Loblaws)
· Experience working with offshore partners from around the globe
· Experience managing many projects, simultaneously
Pay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
