Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Worker to join our team at Kimberlee's Support Services. This role is essential in delivering high-quality home support care, assisting clients with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate team player who is eager to learn and grow in the caregiving field.
You must be available weekends & holidays.
Registered care aide preferred or relevant experience.
Will Train the right applicant for this position.
Responsibilities
Duties include:
- Ability to guide client with mobility & transfers if required
- Toileting/incontinence support if required
- Light caregiving duties
- Light meal Prep
- Blister pack medication assistance
- Personal Care
- Companionship
- Calm, compassionate presence
Experience with seniors, mobility support, dementia, & palliative care is an asset.
Must be reliable, comfortable working independently and preferably have HCA certification and excellent references.
- Requirements
- Registered Health Care Aide is preferred.
- Must live within greater Vernon area.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, organized, and physically fit for the demands of the role.
- References and a criminal record check are required.
