Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments, tailored to each client’s specific conditions and goals
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies and ensure safety
- Educate clients on self-care practices, injury prevention, and occupational health strategies
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans and progress in clinic EMR system
- Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate physiotherapy, pain management, and other modalities
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients while adhering to health regulations and hygiene standards
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advancements in physiology knowledge and medical terminology
Requirements
- In good standing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
- Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Solid understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive client experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
This is an independent contractor position with compensation open to negotiation, based on experience and current client load. Stamford Physio is under new management and is looking forward to many exciting things to come in 2026.
