We are seeking a detail-oriented Fit Technician & Quality Control Specialist to join a reputable fashion company in Montreal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fit sessions and evaluate samples for fit, sizing, comfort, and quality
- Provide fit comments and technical recommendations to suppliers
- Maintain measurement specifications and technical documentation
- Approve development, pre-production, and production samples
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Identify quality issues and support corrective actions with suppliers
- Create and update technical sketches and specification packages in Adobe Illustrator
- Track samples, specifications, and quality reports using Excel
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fit, technical design, or quality control
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, measurements, and quality assurance
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience working with overseas suppliers and manufacturers
