Veterinary Support Associate & Client Services

What You'll Do
- Greet clients, manage appointment check-ins, and handle phone inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Assist veterinarians and RVTs during exams, treatments, and minor procedures
- Safely restrain cats and dogs for vaccinations, blood draws, and nail trims
- Prepare surgical packs, assist with patient monitoring, and support recovery
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, and treatment areas
- Process in-house lab work and maintain accurate patient records
- Support prescription refills and provide basic client education on post-visit care
What You Bring
- Minimum 1 year of paid, hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary hospital
- Proven ability to safely handle and restrain both fractious cats and anxious dogs
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, vaccines, and common veterinary drugs
- Strong multitasking skills — able to manage reception phones while monitoring a patient
- A team-first mindset with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
