Sarmazian Brothers Flooring is seeking an experienced and reliable Window Coverings/Blinds Installer to join our team as an independent subcontractor.
With three showroom locations serving Guelph, Cambridge, Waterloo, and surrounding areas, Sarmazian Flooring has built a reputation for exceptional products, service, and craftsmanship for over 40 years. We are looking for a professional installer to provide installation services for Maxxmar branded blinds in residential and commercial settings. Experience in low voltage electrial responsibiltuies is requiredfor remote/battery operated blinds.
Responsibilities
- Install blinds and window coverings accurately, safely, and professionally according to specifications.
- Measure windows precisely to ensure proper fit.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints related to installation projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collect customer sign-offs and complete installation documentation as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in window covering or similar installation work.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and own tools preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to installation work.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- WSIB coverage and liability insurance are required
