Job Description
Trent Community pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: stocking, stocking accuracy, stocking replenishment, inventory control, and other pharmacy functions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a retail environment and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stocking and accuracy of the pharmacy
- Stocking replenishment of the pharmacy
- Process incoming and outgoing pharmacy deliveries
- Process prescription requests from patients’ insurance companies
- Prepare, inspect, and label prescriptions accurately
- Communicate with patients about their prescriptions
- Communicate with management about patient needs or issues that arise
- Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy at all times including but not limited to cleaning of countertops, floors, and bins
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to maintain high quality of service provided to patients and internal staff
Experience & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a retail environment preferred but not required
- Experience working in a pharmacy facility preferred but not required
- Experience with inventory control preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
