Role Overview:
We're looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and easy to work with. You don't need culinary school or years of experience. You just need to show up on time, move with purpose, and bring your creativity and energy. This role is about making simple, tasty food, testing new ideas and improving every day. You'll also prep ingredients, keep the kitchen clean, and work alongside a small team that actually talks to each other (no silent, angry kitchen vibes here).
What you'll actually be doing:
- Cooking / baking simple menu items (with input on menu decisions)
- Prepping ingredients: chopping, measuring, portioning, labeling
- Washing dishes, taking out trash and breaking down boxes (recycling counts!)
- Keeping the kitchen clean, counters wiped, floors dry, sinks empty
- Keeping an eye on stocks before we run out completely
- Helping your teammates when they're in the weeds
You're probably a good fit if:
- You have some experience in a professional kitchen
- You can work fast without cutting corners on cleanliness or quality
- You like having a clear task list and checking things off
- You're cool with early mornings (baked goods don't make themselves)
- You work well with others (no drama, no blame, just "how can I help?")
Perks (aka the good stuff):
- Free coffee + shift meal during your shifts
- Tips (pooled and split fairly)
- A team that has your back, not a bunch of drama
- Flexible scheduling (we know you have a life)
How to apply:
- Apply online
- Casual meet up to learn more about our vision and ask your questions
- Trial shift with your future colleagues (we’ll make lunch as a team and eat it together)
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Benefits:
Work Location: In person
