Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled service taper or subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taping, sanding, light checks in residential buildings. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards.
Duties
- Perform service work (taping, sanding, light checks etc)
- tracking of materials and time
- Driving to assigned job sites.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- A reliable vehicle to be able to travel to job sites (eligible for mileage reimbursement)
Experience
- Previous experience in drywall taping and construction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Class 5 License & Clean Driver's Abstract.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
- Knowledge of related tools and equipment.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a small team.
- Must be reliable, punctual and have an excellent work ethic.
