About Grill Hero
Grill Hero is a professional BBQ and oven cleaning company committed to providing customers with an exceptional service experience. We help homeowners restore their grills and ovens through detailed, professional cleaning while delivering friendly, reliable service.
Our team operates according to our Hero Values:
- Honesty
- Empathy
- Reliability
- Openness
The Position
This is a hands-on, customer-facing position. You will travel to customers’ homes, inspect their BBQs or ovens, complete detailed cleaning services, and ensure each customer is fully satisfied and understands the work performed.
The right candidate will be diligent, organized, comfortable working independently, and unwilling to overlook small details. You must also be able to speak confidently with customers, explain our services, and recommend additional cleaning options when they would benefit the customer.
This is not simply a cleaning position. It is a combination of technical service, customer service, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Have an up to date Driver's License and a functioning vehicle (get paid Mileage!)
- Professionally clean BBQs, grills, ovens, and related equipment.
- Follow Grill Hero’s cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Carefully inspect each appliance before and after service.
- Protect the customer’s home, patio, and surrounding property while working.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Communicate arrival times, service expectations, progress, and results.
- Take accurate before-and-after photographs.
- Recommend appropriate additional services or future maintenance when relevant.
- Complete digital job notes, invoices, and service documentation.
- Maintain cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Represent Grill Hero professionally at every customer interaction.
What We Are Looking For
Diligence
You consistently follow the complete cleaning process, even when working independently. You understand that excellent results require patience, effort, and discipline.
Attention to Detail
You notice grease, buildup, residue, missed areas, damaged components, and small finishing details that others may overlook. You do not consider a job complete until the final result meets our standards.
Communication Skills
You are comfortable introducing yourself to customers, explaining the service, setting expectations, answering questions, and discussing concerns professionally. You communicate clearly with both customers and your manager.
Sales Ability
You can recognize when a customer would benefit from an additional service and explain that service confidently. You understand that good sales are based on listening, identifying a need, and recommending an appropriate solution—not pressuring the customer.
