Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating packaging machinery, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings, with a strong focus on quality and safety standards. Prior knowledge of mechanical systems, hand tools, and forklift operation is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery to efficiently package products according to specifications
- Inspect finished packages for quality and accuracy before shipment
- Use hand tools for minor adjustments and maintenance of equipment
- Assist with assembly tasks as needed to support production flow
- Utilize forklift or other warehouse equipment to move materials safely within the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
- Document production data accurately and report any issues to supervisors
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred
- Familiarity with packaging processes and machinery operation is advantageous
- Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experience with forklift operation or warehouse handling is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work as part of a team
Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
