Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machinery, including CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in reading technical drawings, and experience with various manufacturing tools and software. The CNC Machinist will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficient operations within our facility.
Duties
- Set up, operate, and program CNC machines such as CNC lathe and CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software
- Interpret technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts for material handling
- Assist in assembly, packaging, and other manufacturing tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes
- Strong blueprint reading skills combined with mechanical knowledge for precise machining.
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and basic math for measurements and quality checks.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus.
- forklift operation experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with machining standards for quality control purposes.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
