About the Position
Social Diversity for Children Foundation is looking for a semester-based K-pop dance instructor to join our dedicated team of special education teachers and aides. Our teachers are passionate about teaching and supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Social Diversity for Children Foundation offers paid training and opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a variety of lesson plans to meet the needs of the classroom
- Create and monitor a safe learning environment
- Maintain a classroom environment that is clean, organized, and provides adequate storage
- Communicate with parents and caregivers about their child’s progress
- Develop an effective classroom management system to support the needs of the classroom as needed
- Communicate with parents and caregivers about their child’s progress
- Maintain a clean classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred
- Dance experience (K-Pop)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required; ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills required

Contract length: 2-3 months
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
