Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our worksite, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is not required, as training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area
- Support team members with various manual tasks including lifting, moving, and positioning materials
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Help with site preparation for upcoming projects or activities
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or manual labour is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety standards and procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
