Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate/Cashier to join our team. This role involves delivering products to clients, managing sales transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service on a daily basis. Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport products to various client locations.
- Manage daily route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Engage with customers professionally, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities during visits.
- Restock shelves, organize displays, and maintain proper merchandising standards at each stop.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately and process sales transactions.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with pricing adjustments as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting of product boxes or supplies safely and efficiently.
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, sales, and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; a standard driver’s license with clean driving record required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Experience in sales, upselling, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Good organizational skills to manage routes and schedules efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds).
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, transactions, and inventory counts.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential for this role.
