WorleyCord Energy Services, a subsidiary of WorleyCord Ltd, is seeking:
Journeyperson and Apprentice Scaffolders to support a year-long program at IPL’s Heartland Petrochemical Complex in Fort Saskatchewan. This program includes preparation work for a major upcoming Turnaround as well as smaller project scopes throughout the year.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure steady long-term work, enjoy a balanced summer schedule, and transition into increased hours and overtime as the Turnaround approaches.
Scheduled hours are expected to increase after the summer months, providing significant earning potential later in the program.
Compensation Details:
- SALARY: From $29.06- $48.44 per hour
- BENEFITS: 4% Pension & 4% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
- START DATE: June 3rd, 2026
- SCHEDULE: Summer hours based on a 9/80 schedule (every second Friday off)
- SHIFT: Day Shift
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
- DURATION: Approximately 1 Year
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship ticket from a recognized provincial training authority OR proof of hours
- Previous industrial scaffolding experience is required
- Valid safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, and site-specific training as required)
- Willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): H2S Alive and Fall Protection
- Must be able to pass site access requirements, including drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
Responsibilities:
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
- Work safely at heights and follow all site safety policies and procedures
- Perform inspections and ensure scaffolding is safe for use
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
