Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes
- Complete deliveries on time and maintain communication with dispatch
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and documentation
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and freight to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle functionality
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch teams
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety standards and regulations
- Assist in securing freight properly for transit to prevent damage during transportation
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required as AZ or Class 1 driver.
- Valid Class 1 / AZ Driver's Licence
- Own tractor/truck
- Clean driving abstract and safety record
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to cross the Canada–US border (preferred, if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required as AZ or Class 1 driver.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Strong understanding of logistics and ELD.
