Furniture Framer

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Furniture Framer to join their team in Vaughan, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of furniture framing experience, with a strong background in constructing chairs, sofa beds, and upholstered furniture frames. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in producing high-quality furniture.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble wooden frames for chairs, sofa beds, and other upholstered furniture.
- Read and interpret production drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
- Ensure frames meet quality standards and production specifications.
- Inspect finished frames for accuracy, strength, and durability.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Furniture Framer.
- Hands-on experience framing chairs, sofa beds, and upholstered furniture is required.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings and measurements.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and furniture construction.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift materials and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
