Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused European Service Advisor to join our Langley EuroFix automotive team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle service and repair, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to vehicle pickup. This role requires strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with a solid understanding of automotive repairs and sales processes. The Service Advisor will also be responsible for selling additional services and handling cash transactions accurately.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and efficiently check in their vehicles for service appointments
- Clearly explain repair and maintenance needs, providing accurate estimates and timelines
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
- Upsell recommended services and maintenance packages to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain detailed records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle history
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Promote dealership services, special offers, and warranty programs to customers
- Assist in building long-term customer relationships through excellent communication and service
Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience or mechanical background is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Sales experience with a focus on upselling additional services or products
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts, and warranty procedures is a plus
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
