The Information Technology Solutions and Services Department (IT S&S) at Shinhan Bank Canada (SHBC) is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of IT systems used by the Bank and administrating systematic business operations of SHBC.
The IT S&S must ensure that the IT systems provide a stable environment to the users, ensure the security and safety of all data files, programs and application and ensure the efficient and prompt processing of data that SHBC relies on.
Associate, IT Solutions and Services is responsible for administrating and operating IT regular or scheduled works and executing the development and implementation of IT project plan based on IT policy and procedures.
This includes business systems’ maintenances and improvements according to IT system development life cycle or proven software development methodology; to define requirement, analyze, design, develop, test and deploy.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Administrating and reporting IT regular daily/monthly/annual batch jobs or system works for the bank’s business activities
- Operating file/data exchanges with external interface systems and real-time online transactions
- Supporting IT troubles and issues/errors of business transactions in core banking system requested by internal and external parties
- For IT maintenances and developments, support defining requirements and document request details to develop
- Executing and reporting user acceptance test to verify development function/features and supporting implementation
- After implementation, reviewing and monitoring IT systems operations
Job Requirements
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in IT or Business related fields.
Work Experience Requirements: 2-3 year of IT related working experience.
- Work experience in IT project, system development or business systems
- Knowledge of IT development tools/language skills
- Understanding of technology and business domain knowledge
