NXL Technologies was formed through the merger of Lee Specialties and Nexus Energy Technologies. NXL specializes in the design, manufacturing, and recertification of pressure control equipment for wireline, coil tubing and snubbing operations in the Oil and Gas Industry.
NXL Technologies has approximately 125,000 sq.ft of state-of-the-art manufacturing space spread out in Central Alberta. NXL’s manufacturing capabilities include machining, welding & fabrication, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical assembly, and product verification and validation testing.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Shop Hand Manufacturing - Stamper to join our team for the evening shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating stamping machinery, assisting in the production process, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stamping presses and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials
- Inspect stamped parts for quality and accuracy.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on stamping machines when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Assist other manufacturing staff and departments as needed to support production goals.
- Report any issues
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing shop or similar environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety and quality.
Schedule:
- Evening Shift: 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM
- Occasional overtime may be required depending on production needs.
Wage: Experience-based pay. Afternoon shift premium will be paid.
