Dental Assistant / Receptionist (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our supportive, team-oriented practice in Oakville. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build consistency and grow within a dental office over time.
This is a hybrid support role involving front desk coordination, sterilization support, and occasional chair-side assisting. If you enjoy working with people and being part of a positive, collaborative environment, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Greeting patients and creating a welcoming, professional experience
- Checking patients in and out efficiently
- Submitting insurance claims and communicating with insurance providers
- Managing schedules and supporting appointment flow
- Ordering supplies and helping keep the front desk organized
- Pitching in where needed to support the team and keep the office running smoothly
- Supporting sterilization and infection control processes
- Providing occasional chair-side assistance when needed

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of dental office experience (assistant or administrative) preferred, but not required
- New Dental Assistant graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Experience with dental software is an asset (experience with Oryx is a plus)
- Interest in a role that offers consistency and the opportunity to grow within a practice
- This role is best suited for someone looking to build stability within a dental practice, rather than a short-term transition role
Schedule

Approximately 25–30 hours per week
- Includes one evening per week and every other Saturday. Days may vary, based on business need.
Compensation

$23 - $26 per hour, based on experience
