o Monitoring STO’s social media accounts for stakeholder inquiries and ques-
tions, and determining whether the response should be private or public
facing.

nels
Supporting issues and stakeholder management activities by:
o Monitoring media and social media coverage relevant to STO and distrib-
uting a summary to agency employees to assist with issues management
and tracking stakeholder trends.
o Monitoring all media and stakeholder correspondence sent to STO, and
working with the Supervisor, Stakeholder Relations and relevant depart-
ments to coordinate response.
o Ensuring the communications team is alerted to any issues arising with cor-
respondence received.
o Briefing stakeholder relations team on social media trends and issues rele-
vant to Skilled Trades Ontario.
- Coordinating and managing social media and email correspondence sent to STO
by:
o Tracking and routing incoming inquiries for response.
o Developing and implementing correspondence strategies and processes;
ensuring high service.
Qualifications:
- College or University degree in communications, journalism or public relations, or
related field.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in communications, journalism, public rela-
tions, marketing and/or media relations.
- Experience working to deadline and managing multiple projects at the same time.
Knowledge of:
- Writing and editing methodology
- Experience writing correspondence with complex content
- Service standards and their application
- Skilled Trades Ontario and the apprenticeship system.
