We are seeking an experienced Metal Shop Fabricator with strong skills in structural steel and stainless steel fabrication.
This role is focused on fabrication, fitting, layout, and assembly rather than production welding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate structural steel and stainless steel components from drawings and specifications
- Perform layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembly of metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans
- Complete accurate fit-up and preparation of components prior to welding
- Work with heavy plate, structural steel, and stainless materials
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to shop standards and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator,
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Experience with structural steel and/or stainless steel fabrication
- Experience fabricating tanks, vessels, or heavy industrial components is an asset
- Ability to use measuring tools and fabrication equipment accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
