Profile Summary:
Production professional with experience in food and beverage operations, SOP/OPL development, staff training, CI projects, and daily performance and downtime analysis. Strong in safety, quality, scheduling, and leading teams to meet production targets efficiently. Flexible with their start and end times due to staff availability.
Specific Accountabilities:

Be able to develop and document new OPL and SOP then provide training to production staff (Experience working with MS Office Suite is a must).

Be able to participate or lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and initiatives up to the project’s Control Phase.

Be able to complete daily P&L including analysis of downtime encountered.

Understand, apply and actively participate in maintaining and coaching staff in Club Coffee’s health and safety program and practices including safe lifting, LOTO, incident prevention, personal safety practices and incident/near miss investigation/reporting.

Understand, apply and actively participate in maintaining and coaching staff in product quality and food safety program and practices including BRC, HACCP, QA/QC, GMP, sanitation and good hygiene practices.

Ensure attainment of Production schedule through efficient use of production resources, monitoring packaging throughput and efficiencies using production KPIs.

Be able to properly schedule and coordinate packaging change over and machine Preventive maintenance with Shift manager, operators and maintenance team.

Be able to conduct orientation, training and scheduled training evaluation of newly hired operators, AOs, MH and GLs.

Be able to document and communicate detailed packaging issues including machine issues, process issues and people issues. Present and discussed with shift manager, maintenance manager and plant manager.

Understand, apply and actively participate in maintaining product quality and food safety program practices including BRC, HACCP, QA / QC, GMP, Sanitation and good hygiene practices.

Understand, apply and actively participate in maintaining the Health and Safety program.

Be ok to work Overtime on day-to-day basis or weekends as required by the business.

Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Qualifications:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in food and beverage industry. Current and previous leadership role will be an asset.

Ability to step up as Shift Manager in charge when SM is on vacation/training, including afternoon and evening shifts.

Ability to train operators and make staff accountable for productivity results.

Knowledge of H&S programs and practices as well as Food safety programs and procedures.

Flexible to move to another shift if required, change in start times and to render overtime as needed.

Quick decision making and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and be able to complete assigned task accurately and on time.

Ability to organize packaging machines and staff schedules.

Ability to foresee production scenarios based on coffee, primary packaging and staff availability.
