Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman to join our construction and team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. This role involves executing complex projects with precision, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to the successful completion of diverse construction and restoration tasks. The Journeyman/Woman will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across multiple disciplines.
Duties
- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Install cabinetry, siding, roofing, flooring, and siding materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct restoration projects including surface preparation, caulking, painting, and finishing.
- Assemble structural components and fixtures with precision and attention to detail.
- Execute electrical and plumbing tasks in compliance with codes and safety standards.
- Estimate project materials and labor requirements; assist in construction estimating when necessary.
- Ensure heavy lifting is performed safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman in construction or manufacturing environments.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in various trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, and concrete forming.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, scaffolding, and other construction equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of working in demanding environments.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures related to construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
