Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts to load and unload materials.
- Fabricate packaging solutions to ensure products are secure during transit.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists.
- Build pallets and prepare orders for shipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is a asset.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
