Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our Injection Moulding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for, monitoring production, and maintaining cycle time for rework of parts, trim, inspection or post moulding procedure. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and safety consciousness to support our manufacturing operations and uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough product inspections.
- Provide effective inspection service to production, to minimize waste.
- Inspect, rework, and verify products as required under the direction of the supervisor.
- Identify product and fill complete labeling requirements in accordance with work orders and production documentation.
- Follow all work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and production plans.
- Complete, sign and date all required production and quality documentation accurately.
- Package and prepare finished products for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through regular housekeeping activities.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Measure, store, and mix products according to procedures and specifications.
- Clean and maintain dryers and related production equipment.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and capability to lift up to 25 Ibs.
- Experience in production manufacturing. Previous experience within the plastics industry is considered a strong asset.
- Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent visual inspection skills with the ability to detect subtle defects and quality issues.
