We work with a small, hands-on team alongside leading architects, engineers, and contractors to bring projects from planning through construction.
Job Type: Full-time, hybrid, office located in North Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $55,000–$70,000 CAD/year, depends on experience
Position Overview
As Project Coordinator, you will primarily support real estate development and construction coordination across multiple projects, reporting directly to management and principals. You will liaise with outside consultants, contractors, and other companies throughout design, planning, and construction. You will also take on a supporting role in general office coordination and administrative tasks. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a senior project management position as you take on more responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, and consultant reports
- Coordinate and follow up on issues between design, planning, and construction teams, and outside consultants/contractors
- Review change orders and ensure cost effectiveness
- Perform regular site visits and provide construction updates
- Support scheduling, correspondence, and document organization across active projects
- Assist with general office coordination and administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality on all business and project matters
Desired Skills and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of project coordination experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
- Discretion and professionalism handling confidential information
- Reliable transportation required for regular site visits (mileage reimbursed)
