Patercon Construction is a growing concrete contractor specializing in both structural and architectural concrete. Our projects range from commercial and civil foundations to high-end architectural concrete, landscape structures, site concrete, and park features.
We take pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and building projects that stand out. We're looking for an experienced Foreman to lead a crew of 2–6 carpenters and labourers on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects throughout the Lower Mainland.
What You'll Do
As a Foreman, you'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily site operations while maintaining our high standards for safety, productivity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise crews of 2–6 workers
- Coordinate daily work activities and plan upcoming tasks
- Construct and oversee formwork for footings, foundations, walls, stairs, suspended slabs, and site concrete
- Perform layout and ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret construction drawings and survey information
- Utilize construction software such as Bluebeam Revu and Procore to review drawings, manage documentation, and communicate project information
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and progress tracking
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive worksite
- Communicate effectively with project managers, suppliers, inspectors, and clients
- Train and mentor junior crew members
- Ensure projects meet Patercon's quality standards and schedule requirements
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of concrete formwork experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of concrete forming methods and construction practices
- Proficiency with construction software, including Bluebeam and Procore
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic hand tools and tool belt
- Ability to tow a trailer is considered an asset
