Water / Fire Damage Technician
Job description
We are seeking a skilled Water Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate have a valid drivers license and will possess a strong background in:
- Mechanical aptitude— you can look at something and just know how it works
- Detail oriented and curious
- Organized with a good sense of time— you’re rarely late and know where all your tools are
- Physically fit— water and fire damage can, at times, include heavy lifting and getting into (and out of) tight places
- Friendly and enjoys working in a team!
- A safety-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license & clean drivers abstract
Past industry experience (although not required) includes: demolition work, carpenter, apprentice, construction laborer, plumber, janitor, landscaper, vac truck operator, or laborer.
Having your IICRC certification is an asset.
Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor is essential.
A commitment to safety practices on the job site is required.
Both major weather disasters and minor accidents involving water, fire, and more happen every day, and in our industry, this is how we keep busy, restoring properties 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
Monday to Friday, Weekends
Must speak fluent English, French is an asset
