TTG's partners are looking to bid on contract at CFB Petawawa that will provide multiple intermediate technicians to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs for the Canadian Army Equipment Readiness Program. The technicians will be required at Garrison Petawawa where tasks may include, but are not limited to, conducting inspections, diagnosis, and repairs CAERP fleet vehicles and their equipment. The contract is expected to last for two years.
Candidates for this project must have:
- a Certificate of Qualification to be a Truck and Coach Technician in Ontario or be DP2 Qualified Vehicle Technician / QL5, or an equivalent trade certification from another provincial regulatory authority=
- a minimum of 2 years cumulative experience conducting maintenance on commercial or military trucks
- a minimum of a high school education
- a reliability-level security clearance from PSPC Canada or qualify to obtain a security clearance. A Controlled Goods certification will also be required.
Working hours will be Monday-Friday for 37.5 hours per on-site. Resources will be provided a fixed-term employment contract, effective and renewable based on our contract with the Department of Defence.
Military experience, or experience working on a Military base, is desired, but not required.
