Area of Responsibilities
1. Implement bank wide Enterprise Risk Management and enhance in line with ongoing requirements
2. Review relevant risk management policies on an annual basis in line with corporate governance requirements
3. Perform periodic portfolio level analytics for the Bank’s mortgage business including review activity in line with audit requirements. Present key updates to senior management.
4. Conduct in-depth industry analysis and research on a quarterly basis, and present the same to all stakeholders
5. Keep abreast of regulatory policies and requirements in Canada. Work with relevant stakeholders to create and update policies in line with regulatory requirements.
6. Carry out credit analysis of new and existing loans on Small Business Lending Program
7. Review Risk Appetite limits/Risk Dashboard and Emerging Risk Analysis on a quarterly basis
8. Review, update and maintain the Bank and Country limit frameworks as per periodic requirements
9. Enhance the Board level risk management policies according to business needs and portfolio risk level and present in appropriate forums for approval
10. Coordinate within the department to prepare presentations for senior management, Board & regulators
11. Coach, mentor and develop a strong credit culture among corporate, commercial and retail business teams
12. Other duties as assigned
