Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Servers to join our small dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving drinks, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their food and drinks.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible service practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages or needs for reordering.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food and beverages are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate busy service periods.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Server, or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with POS systems (silverware, PUSH) is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations And have your smart serve.
