Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and cooking processes, delivering high-quality dishes to our valued guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to prevent contamination
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant, food service, or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills and knowledge
Pay: $17.20-$24.44 per hour
