Position Summary
The Junior Project Coordinator plays a key support role within the Production Department, assisting with the planning, scheduling, coordination, and successful completion of residential roofing, siding, eavestrough, and exterior renovation projects.
This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual who is looking to build a career in construction project management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Manager, Field Supervisor, installers, suppliers, and homeowners to ensure projects are prepared properly, communicated effectively, and delivered with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Core ResponsibilitiesProject Preparation
- Review project files and contracts prior to construction.
- Confirm project scope, specifications, colors, and material selections.
- Assist with ordering materials and coordinating deliveries.
- Schedule disposal bins, equipment, and other project resources.
- Verify permits, documentation, and project information are complete before installation.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Support the Production Team in scheduling projects and allocating crews.
- Maintain project calendars and scheduling systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Communicate project readiness with installers and crew leaders.
- Track project milestones and assist in updating production schedules.
Customer Communication
- Contact homeowners to schedule pre-construction meetings.
- Assist with project updates and customer communications.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries.
- Document conversations and maintain accurate project records.
- Help ensure a positive customer experience throughout each project.
Administrative Support
- Update project management software and company records.
- Organize project documentation and photographs.
- Maintain accurate job costing and production tracking information.
- Assist with warranty and deficiency tracking.
- Prepare reports and production updates as required.
Quality & Safety Support
- Conduct occasional site visits alongside Project Managers.
- Assist with documenting project progress.
- Support quality control inspections and deficiency tracking.
- Help ensure company safety standards and procedures are followed.
Qualifications Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in construction, renovation, customer service, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with residential construction practices and terminology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- Residential Construction: 5 years (required)
- project management: 3 years (preferred)
