We are currently looking for Industrial Millwrights to join our team located in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Applicants must have experience in the industrial sector and be willing to commute to different job sites within South-Western Ontario as required.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance work on industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.
- Identify and or repair/replace defective machine parts and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment as scheduled.
- Experience in heavy rigging, machinery moving and installation of new equipment.
- Work within company health and safety policies, practices and standards.
- Read blueprints and layout drawings.
- Experience running jobs, supervising and directing fellow tradesmen.
- Site coordination, ordering tools, equipment and liaising with customers.
- Willing to actively participate in continuing education/training.
- Knowledge and ability to implement and follow safe working practices.
- Maintains an efficient, safe and tidy work site at all times.
