Fraser Health requires a full or part-time locum palliative care physician to provide clinical service along with our multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will work alongside other palliative care physicians to provide consultation services in acute care and for community-based patients. Additionally, you will provide MRP coverage to our Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and Hospice.
Throughout the Fraser Health Authority we provide integrated, regional, comprehensive palliative care services in a number of settings including 30 Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) beds; consult services in 12 acute care sites as well as in the community and other settings; and support to 106 hospice beds. Additionally, we provide under-graduate and post-graduate teaching in affiliation with the Division of Palliative Care at the University of British Columbia.
The successful candidate will have:

One year enhanced skills residency and/or acquired the Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) through the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
- Two year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine.
Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia is required.
Remuneration is by service contract at a rate set provincially by the Ministry of Health.
