Supervisor, Plant Maintenance - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the Mechanical Maintenance Group during the performance of both scheduled and emergency maintenance activities in the Powerhouse and Intake areas.
Assist the Manager of Work Execution- Generation in developing and implementing maintenance programs for production equipment.
Approve stores requisitions to support maintenance operations.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure parts are available for routine replacements and equipment repairs.
Promote and demonstrate a strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of co-workers by adhering to and supporting the Corporation's Safety and Health Program.
Ensure all work is carried out in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with applicable environmental requirements.
Fulfill all environmental responsibilities associated with the position while supporting the Corporation's commitment to environmental stewardship
What We’re Looking For:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated strong work ethic.
Flexible, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Good working knowledge of computers.
What You’ll Need:
Interprovincial Certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright).
Minimum of five (5) years of post-certification experience in hydro plant maintenance.
Comfortable working in an underground facility.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
