Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient supervisor to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Training staff
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding order status and special requests
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including wiping down trays, carts, and work surfaces
- Handle food safely according to established protocols, including proper handling of hot items and utensils
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order tracking when necessary
- Assist with restaurant operations such as refilling supplies or restocking stations during service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cashiering, or barista experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is desirable
- Experience working with POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and guest service orientation are essential
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings can be beneficial but is not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
