Peerless Building Products is seeking an experienced Journeyman Roofer to join our team in Medicine Hat, Alberta. If you take pride in producing quality work, have a strong commitment to safety, and enjoy working as part of a professional team, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace commercial and residential roofing systems.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Install a variety of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, SBS modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, and metal roofing.
- Perform roof inspections and identify required repairs.
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and provincial safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized worksite.
- Mentor apprentices and assist with on-the-job training.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Roofer Certificate (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of roofing experience.
- Experience with commercial roofing systems is considered a strong asset.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to work safely at heights.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
