On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior AI Engineer for an 8-month contract role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior AI Engineer - Job Description:
This role focuses on developing innovative AI, Generative AI, and Conversational AI solutions. The project involves creating and integrating AI-powered contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services to enhance customer service capabilities.
Senior AI Engineer - Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, implement, and support AI, Generative AI, and Conversational AI solutions.
- Design and support AI-powered conversational IVR solutions, virtual assistants, and AI agents.
- Maintain integrations between AI solutions and enterprise applications.
- Optimize prompts and AI interactions for secure and effective communication.
- Work closely with architects and stakeholders to implement scalable AI solutions.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and Responsible AI standards.
Senior AI Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of experience developing AI and Machine Learning solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM solutions in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Amazon Connect contact center solutions.
- Experience configuring and developing Amazon Connect Customer AI Agents.
- Strong experience with Python development.
- Experience with AWS services including Amazon Connect, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Lex.
- Experience designing and optimizing prompts for conversational AI.
Senior AI Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior experience in the public sector.
- Knowledge of Azure OpenAI and Google Vertex AI platforms.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and related technologies.
- Experience with speech analytics and sentiment analysis technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
Senior AI Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Onsite 5 days a week.
