Alpha & Omega Painting Inc. is a well-established painting and renovations company based in Vancouver, proudly serving the Greater Vancouver area since 2015. We’re committed to delivering high-quality work and building strong relationships with our clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team as a full-time employee.
You’ll be part of our in-house team and receive health and dental benefits after the probation period. We also provide a company vehicle and all major tools—just bring your own basic hand tools.
We’re looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in general renovation and maintenance work. You should be confident performing a wide range of tasks, including minor painting, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, framing, fencing, exterior siding repairs, and minor electrical work.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are key for this role.
Since we take on projects across the Greater Vancouver and Lower Mainland, you must have a valid BC driver’s license, be comfortable driving to job sites in different cities, and picking up materials when needed. You should also be physically able to lift and carry tools and materials on a daily basis.
Clear, professional communication in English is important, as you’ll be dealing with both clients and team members on-site.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor painting and drywall touch-ups
- Complete basic plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing faucets)
- Carry out framing, fencing, and general carpentry work
- Install or repair flooring (laminate, vinyl, etc.)
- Repair or replace exterior siding
- Handle minor electrical tasks (light fixture/switch replacement, basic troubleshooting)
- Pick up and deliver materials to job sites as needed
- Travel to various locations across the Lower Mainland
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in handyman, renovation, or construction work
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Comfortable driving to multiple cities within the Greater Vancouver area
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying tools and materials
- Own basic hand tools (company provides vehicle and major tools)
- Proficient in professional-level English (spoken and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
