Truss & Lumber Yard Supervisor
Sunder Building Supplies is seeking a motivated and experienced Truss & Lumber Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our lumber yard and truss department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, managing staff, and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the lumber yard and truss department
- Lead, train, and support yard and production staff
- Ensure customer orders are picked, loaded, and shipped accurately and on schedule
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with scheduling staff and assigning daily tasks
- Work closely with sales, dispatch, and management teams to ensure smooth operations
- Resolve operational issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the lumber, building materials, truss manufacturing, or construction industry preferred
- Supervisory or leadership experience is considered a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of lumber and building materials
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
